Reeling For Freedom is a 501c3 Nonprofit organization founded in 2020, by Billy Baucom. Billy’s idea was to give back to our VETERANS with a fishing experience, free of cost to them! Regardless of whether it’s a first timer or fishing professional, male or female, active or non-combat, any branch...we strive to provide breathtaking serenity while dropping a line!

Who We Are

Americans wouldn’t have the freedoms we luckily have today, if it weren’t for our VETERANS! Reeling For Freedom never wants our freedoms to be taken for granted, or unappreciated, or be forgotten! Many of our VETERANS unfortunately suffer from PTSD, hardships readjusting to previous lifestyles, mourn the loss of combat brothers, and/or suffer from mental & physical pains. Reeling For Freedom’s goal is to combine the serenity, peacefulness, and natural beauty of the water atmosphere with the pleasurable entertainment and challenge of fishing...at NO cost to our VETERANS!

Everything is Provided

NO Cost! You will not have to worry about being prepared for a fun day of fishing. We provide everything you need to get you on the water! Fishing rods & reels, bait, tackle, life jackets, and even drinks/water & snacks for your enjoyment. The only thing our VETERANS need is to be ready for an exhilarating day on the water fishing! Be ready to catch a good time, reeling in lots of fun!
